“we welcome everyone and help each other to discover their unique gifts, joyfully working together as one to bring the overflowing love of Jesus to all people.”
Our parish vision states that “we are a diverse community united by our love for Jesus and for one another, constantly seeking to grow in this love especially through the Eucharist.” This weekend’s celebration of the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (also called “Corpus Christi”) is our opportunity to reflect more deeply upon the wonderful mystery of the Eucharist, in which we come into the deepest possible Communion with God, through Christ, and through him with one another. May we enter more deeply into this mystery, and live in the unity and peace that it signifies and brings about, for our parish community, and for our world!
Our parish vision goes on to state that “we welcome everyone and help each other to discover their unique gifts, joyfully working together as one to bring the overflowing love of Jesus to all people.” After next weekend’s Sunday Masses we will have a “come and see cup of tea” where everyone is welcome to come and learn more about the various groups, activities and ministries in the parish, chat with those involved, and see ways you might like to get more involved in the parish. God has given every one of us unique gifts, and our task is to help each other discover those gifts and discern how God is calling us to use them to build up the Church and broader community, which in turn helps us not only to serve others but also to find a deeper sense of meaning, purpose and joy in our own lives too.
We have begun registrations for our next season of Alpha, commencing Wednesday 23rd July, at 7pm at St Therese Parish Centre.
You can use the QR code here (scan or click on the image) to register, or contact the parish office, and there are cards that you can take with you as well either to register yourself or invite others along who you think might be open to exploring the deeper questions of life, faith and meaning. No cost, no commitment, come and see – there is a seat for you!

Deacon Joseph has landed safely in Vietnam. While he is away, we will have an
opportunity to contribute towards a gift for his priestly ordination later in the year. You can give cash to the collection bucket labelled “Donations for Deacon Joseph’s Ordination Gift”. If you wish to contribute electronically to his gift, please contact the parish office.
